Sen. Robert Brown has announced a public meeting regarding the restructuring plan for Macon, Payne City and Bibb County.

It will be held in the Macon City Hall chambers immediately following the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 5.

Invitations have been sent to other members of the Bibb County legislative delegation, Macon’s mayor and City Council, the Bibb County Commission and the Macon Water Authority.

City Council President Miriam Paris will chair the meeting.

Effective April 1, Robins Federal Credit Union has acquired the assets and accounts of Park Community Credit Union in Middle Georgia. Robins Federal will open its 19th branch location at 2930 Riverside Drive, formerly Park Community Credit Union, and it will be a full service branch with drive-thru ATM services.

Branch hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (drive-thru only).

The Hephzibah Children's Center cares for abused, neglected, and homeless children and provides other outreach ministry programs.
