The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame’s (GSHOF) Spring Sports Film Series begins on Saturday, March 19 with a screening of the classic basketball movie Hoosiers at 2 p.m.
A GSHOF news release says the film stars Gene Hackman as a coach on the rebound that trains a small town high school basketball team to become a top contender for the championship.
The film screening, popcorn and a soft drink are included with regular museum admission.
The film series is made possible in part by a grant from the Macon Arts Alliance and the City of Macon.
The series will continue in April and May with The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings and Remember the Titans. Each film will be shown in the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame’s 205 seat, state-of-the-art theater.
Please include this event on all e-blasts and calendars.
