11 Foot Reaper Draws Attention From Trick-Or-Treaters
News

People driving along Ridge Point Way in Macon may have noticed a giant reaper hanging from a house.

Kistin Griffin built the eleven foot structure for her yard. Griffin says she used scrap wood, chicken wire and burlap to create the spooky figure.

The ghoulish decorations didn't stop there. Inside the house were spider webs, severed heads hanging from strings, and a gory scene from the movie "Saw" in the bathroom.

Griffin says the reaper gets a lot of attention from trick-or-treaters and adds some extra spookiness to her halloween party.

"We had a halloween party last night, an adult party, and every one of the single guest came in and said, 'We thought it was going to jump out and grab us, you know I thought it was going to scare us from behind, or something like that.' So yeah, even adults are getting scared," says Griffin.

Griffin says each year she works on adding decorations to surprise thrill-seekers.
