Heritage Elementary Asks Families to Turn Off Technology
Families, Schools

Heritage Elementary is asking parents and students to join them in recognizing Turn Off Your Technology Day on Wednesday, Nov. 17.

Families are encouraged to turn off cell phones, televisions, radio, video games, and computers and instead read a book together.

Forms are being sent home for families to sign saying they participated; every student who returns the signed form will receive a book mark. This event is part of the school’s activities for National Parent Involvement Day, which is being recognized on Nov. 18.
