John Tesh to Perform at The Grand Opera House

John Tesh, the performer best known for sharing his soul throughout the year on his radio show, will be taking the stage at The Grand Opera House on Friday, Dec. 17, at 8 p.m.

This is his first tour in 15 years and Tesh will be swinging into the holiday season with his band of 14 merry makers, including eight big band-style horn players.

Join Tesh for an evening of music, comedy and even a few goodies from his nationally syndicated “The John Tesh Radio Show: Music and Intelligence for Your Life.”

Tesh will cover “How to enjoy the holidays without gaining the seasonal saddlebags,” and “when you act to improve someone else’s life, your own health improves as a result!”

This Christmas performance includes Tesh’s trademark high-energy light show, wrap-around LCD screens and, most important, his genuine interaction with the audience. The show is a sometimes silly, sometimes serious and always inspirational way to head into the holidays with your perspective adjusted, your expectations in check and your heart in high gear.

With a career that spans more than 25 years, Tesh is known worldwide as a leading and respected figure in the entertainment and broadcasting industries. After 10 years as co-host of “Entertainment Tonight,” he surprised many by leaving the highly visible position to pursue his career as a fulltime musician.

For generations music and media have gone hand-in-hand and Tesh has conquered both successfully through numerous media, music and creative formats, as one of the most successful syndicated radio show hosts in the country with “The John Tesh Radio Show: Music and Intelligence for Your Life,” his new musical endeavor, ALIVE music and dance and even a new book, “Intelligence for Your Life.”

Over the course of his career, Tesh has scoredith three gold albums, six Emmys, two Grammy nominations, an Associated Press Award for investigative journalism, a Keyboard Magazine Award, several number one radio hits, and three hit PBS specials. He also completed two tours as an Olympic announcer/composer.
