Jury Finds Former Medical Center Nurse Not Guilty of Sexually Assaulting Patient
News

A jury found a former Medical Center of Central Georgia nurse not guilty of sexually assaulting a patient.

That's according to Bibb County Assistant District Attorney Pam White-Colbert.

She says James Purvis was accused of touching the breast area of a patient, as well as rubbing her shoulders and trying to kiss her in March 2009.

She says Purvis was no longer employed by the Medical Center following the incident.
