MidSouth Community FCU Sponsoring Dallemand Investiture

The Investiture of Dr. Dallemand as the Bibb County School District Superintendent on January 31 is being sponsored by MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union.

“We look forward to the Superintendent bringing a fresh perspective, strong focus, and a total-commitment to quality education in our community,” says Harry Trawick, MidSouth Board Chairman and retired Bibb County School District Deputy Superintendent. “MidSouth was founded by Bibb County educators originally, for Bibb County educators, and this foundation remains strong. It's important for those who can, to step forward and help build our educational system from every aspect, including financial support when possible.”

“This major contribution by MidSouth is a wonderful example of how this community comes together in support of educating our students – our most important product,” says Board Member Ella Carter. “The Board of Education is most appreciative of this kind gesture.”

“A solid commitment to providing quality education to our future Middle Georgia leaders and citizens will ultimately play the most critical role in the economic viability of Bibb County,” adds Claude Garrett, MidSouth President and CEO. “These students will shop, work, and play in the businesses in this county, and their education and skill-sets will prompt business development teams to locate new opportunities here, from industry to tourism.

The best business decision is to support education: our Board of Education, its leadership, its faculty, its staff, and most importantly, its students.”

The Investiture will begin at 6 p.m., and invited guests include local & state political leaders, Middle Georgia RESA Superintendents, presidents of area colleges, principals with identified school leaders, district administrators, and local media.

A formal program will include greetings from the business community and local leaders, teacher and student representatives, student performances, and Dr. Dallemand taking his Oath of Office.

Following the program, the community will be invited to an open reception where he may meet and hear directly from stakeholders.
