Miller-Motte Technical College's new location has officially opened on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd., Monday, Nov. 8.

The new campus presents a variety of programs including Associate of Occupational Science Degree programs in: Dental/Assisting, Human Resource Management, Healthcare Information Technology, Management, Medical Laboratory Technician and Security and Investigation.

Certificate programs include: Clinical Office Assistant, Dental Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Office Assistant and Medical Laboratory Assistant. 

MMTC will create 60 jobs for the Macon community.

Nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, Miller-Motte College was originally formed in Wilmington, N.C. in 1916. The college has grown to establish 15 campuses in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia over the years.

“We are delighted to be a part of the Macon community,” said Macon MMTC Campus Director Lynne Nixon.

“We look forward to providing the necessary education and support to help students successfully achieve their goals and begin a new career.”
