Rock Candy Tours Set for Annual Day After Christmas Rock & Roll Stroll | Arts & Culture
Macon's popular rocking and rolling musical tour will offer a special edition again this year the day after Christmas, Dec. 26, 2012. As the area's only guided walking experience, Rock Candy Tours leads guests throughout Macon's Intown Historic District to see the crash pads, offices and sidewalks where the city's incredible music history was made. Stories of the musicians, producers and behind the scenes people who made it happen are woven into a fun rocking and strolling afternoon, spent with Rock Candy founders Jessica Walden and Jamie Weatherford. You'll cover two miles in a little more than two hours, winding up with a visit to everyone's favorite soul food icon, Mama Louise at the H&H Restaurant!
1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 26. Meet at Washington Park on Magnolia Street in comfy shoes and bring a water bottle. Cost: $15/person. For reservations, call 478.955.5997 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
