Robins Federal Credit Union Honors Retiree

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union board member, Harold “Buzz” Sawyer recently received the Moses C. Davis Volunteer of the Year award from the Georgia Credit Union League. This award is presented to someone based on their significant and contemporary contributions to their credit union, involvement with the credit union movement and unselfish devotion to his/her duties as a credit union volunteer.

Sawyer will be retiring this year after 49 years of service. He has served 23 years as Treasurer, 4 years as Chairman, 2 years as Vice Chairman and on several committees throughout the years.

Sawyer’s dedication and strong leadership, as well as his commitment to member education and staff development has helped Robins Federal achieve outstanding growth. He is the type of leader who will inspire those that follow in his footsteps because of the value he placed on making our member’s interests his top priority.

Robins Federal Credit Union to Sponsor 2015 Komen Race for the Cure

Robins Federal Credit Union Awards June First Friday Winner

Macon, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently awarded a Wii U game bundle to Steven Waters, winner of the June First Friday drawing.

This contest was part of June First Friday, which is hosted by Robins Federal Credit Union and NewTown Macon. Central Georgia residents were invited to visit Robins Federal Credit Union’s Macon branches to register for the game system.

Robins Federal Credit Union Supports Macon Regional Crimestoppers

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently presented Macon Regional Crimestoppers with a $5,000 donation to the 14th Annual Community Luncheon. This event will be held on Monday, November 16th and the funds raised help support payouts for tipsters who assist law enforcement with the arrest of criminals.

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently presented Perry High School with a $1,000 donation to the Marching Band. This donation will assist in purchasing new instruments for the band.

Robins Federal Credit Union Continues Support of Habitat for Humanity

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently made a corporate donation of $1,500 to the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the corporate donation, a team of 12 Robins Federal Credit Union employees met at a home on Stratford Drive for Habitat’s “Women Build Day.” The team consisted of 11 females and one male from several Robins Federal Credit Union branches and departments.

Robins Federal Credit Union has partnered with the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity since 2008, and employees have frequently donated their time to construct Habitat homes.

Robins Federal Credit Union Announces New Manager

Warner Robins, Ga. — Robins Federal Credit Union would like to announce the newest addition to their management team; Blair Edwards, Ft. Valley Branch Manager.

Edwards has 16 years of banking experience and has been with Robins Federal for over 15 years. She began her career with Robins Federal as a Teller and has worked in several branch positions before getting promoted to Branch Manager. Edwards is from Peach County and is excited to be back in her home town.
