Robins Federal Credit Union Continues to Fight Child Abuse

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently renewed its support of Rainbow House Children’s Resource Center by sponsoring Child Abuse Prevention Month events.

Rainbow House hosts a variety of events during the month of April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Events are held to increase community awareness of child abuse and provide prevention education. Robins Federal Credit Union also displayed more than 150 pinwheels at its Watson Boulevard branch.

Robins Federal Continues Sponsorship of Independence Day Celebration

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently renewed its sponsorship of the Annual Independence Day Celebration in Warner Robins. Robins Federal Credit Union presented the Warner Robins Civitan Club with a sponsorship check for $10,000.00. 

This year’s celebration will take place at Museum of Aviation on July 3rd and will include a performance by Darius Rucker. This performance will be followed by a fireworks show.

Robins Federal Credit Union Partners with Meals on Wheels

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently made a monetary contribution of $2,147.60 to Meals on Wheels of Houston County.

Meals on Wheels is a nationwide nonprofit organization that provides hot meals to senior citizens who are homebound or unable to cook for themselves. Volunteers deliver meals to the Meals on Wheels recipient, while also checking on their wellness and visiting with them. For more information, visit www.hocomow.org.

Electric bus considered for Second Street Corridor

In 2011, Macon began a planning for the redevelopment and revitalization of the Second Street Corridor as a “multi-modal spine” from East Macon and I-16, through Downtown, past Mercer University, and to I-75. It would connect residential areas, businesses, universities, medical facilities, and government facilities to each other while linking two regionally significant facilities, I-16 and I-75.
