Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently sponsored Muscular Dystrophy Association with a $1,000 contribution to the Muscle Walk. This event helps to raise awareness about muscle diseases in the hopes to find treatments and cures to win the fight against it.

Macon-Bibb budget receives national award

In January, Macon-Bibb County was notified that the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) had selected it to receive the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its Fiscal Year 2015 budget. In order to receive the award, Macon-Bibb’s budget document had to serve as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide, and a communications device, and then it had to be rated as proficient in each of those areas. Robins Federal Credit Union Sponsors Cherry Blossom Pins

Macon, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union will once again sponsor the Cherry Blossom pins for the 2015 Cherry Blossom Festival.

Beginning in mid-January, Cherry Blossom pins may be purchased for $10 each. Pins are available at the following Robins Federal Credit Union locations:

Robins Federal Partners with Rebuilding Together Warner Robins

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Federal Credit Union recently sponsored Rebuilding Together by contributing $5,000 to the Annual Work Day Event.

Employees from Robins Federal Credit Union will volunteer to help rehabilitate a home for a low-income homeowner in the community. Work day tasks will include yard work, painting, and other maintenance items.

Robins Federal Credit Union Blood Drive Saves Over 80 Lives

Warner Robins, GA — The American Red Cross collected 28 pints of blood from Robins Federal Credit Union employees, members, and members of the community at a blood drive held on Tuesday, January 13th at Robins Federal Credit Union.

Each unit of blood has the ability to save up to three lives. That means the blood collected at Robins Federal Credit Union’s semiannual blood drive has the potential to save 84 lives.

The American Red Cross recently issued a state of emergency notice due to dwindling blood supplies. To find a donation location, please visit the American Red Cross website.
