Robins Financial Credit Union Collects Care Packages for Troops Overseas

Warner Robins, GA – Robins Financial Credit Union recently contributed care packages to send off to troops who are currently serving overseas. Employees were able to provide items to be boxed and sent to the troops just in time for the holidays.

As a part of this annual collection, Robins Financial Credit Union was able to provide a variety of items from snacks and grooming items to magazines, batteries, and other beneficial items. Robins Financial also partnered with a local elementary school to provide hand written notes from students. These packages will be sent to troops deployed from Robins Air Force Base.

Robins Financial Credit Union Continues Support of Habitat for Humanity

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union recently made a corporate donation to the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the corporate donation, a team of Robins Financial Credit Union employees met at a home in Lynmore Estates for Habitat’s “Women Build Day.” These awesome ladies completed projects like interior/exterior painting, cleaning, building stair handrails and installing storm doors.

Robins Financial Credit Union has partnered with the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity since 2008, and employees have frequently donated their time to construct Habitat homes.

City of Warner Robins Proclaims International Credit Union Day

Warner Robins, GA — Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms along with Robins Financial Credit Union and members of the community came together to sign a proclamation on Thursday, October 21, 2021 to be recognized as International Credit Union Day in the city of Warner Robins. Christina O’Brien, President and CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union, along with representatives from CGR Credit Union, Combined Employees Credit Union, MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union and HEA Federal Credit Union were there to witness and celebrate this event.

Robins Financial Credit Union Recognizes Employees for Years of Service

Warner Robins, GA – Robins Financial Credit Union recently recognized employees for their years of service during their Annual Service Awards. This event is held each year to recognize their staff who have reached a 5-year milestone. New this year, Robins Financial also recognized employees celebrating a 1 year anniversary and a 3 year anniversary. In total they recognized 165 employees for their years of service.

Robins Financial Credit Union Provides Scholarship

Warner Robins, GA – Robins Financial recently made a $4,000 donation to Georgia Military College to award a student a 1 year scholarship. Tyrese Buckner was selected as the recipient for this scholarship. He is pursuing his Associate of Science in Biology. Tyrese plans to use his degree to pursue a career in dentistry and also wants to serve his country by joining the Army Reserves.

Robins Financial Credit Union Announces New Vice President

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union would like to announce the promotion of Amy Etheridge as their new Vice President of Delivery Channels. In this role, Etheridge will be focused on leading the credit union’s strategy for digital and remote channels.

Etheridge has worked for Robins Financial Credit Union for nearly 20 years. During that time she has held many positions throughout the organization, most recently as the Marketing & Digital Services Manager.

She has a Master’s in Business Administration from Western Governors University, and an undergraduate degree in Management.

Etheridge currently serves as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Georgia as well as serving as Secretary and board member for the Houston County Volunteer Medical Clinic.

Macon, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union recently sponsored the Five Star Celebrity Golf Classic by contributing $20,000 to the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia.
