CTAE Hosts Cinderella's Wish List Dress Sale | Business

The District's Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Department hosted its inaugural Cinderella's Wish List Dress Sale on February 22-23. The Cinderella's Wish List Dress Sale, similar to Houston County's annual Demon Dress Drive, featured new or gently-used prom dresses for sale at a discounted cost.

The CTAE Department hosted the event to raise funds for the 2013 CTAE Student of the Year Scholarship fund. Currently, the CTAE Department presents a $500 scholarship to the Bibb County CTAE Student of the Year and $250 scholarship to the first- and second-place runners-up. The CTAE Department hopes to make this an annual event to increase the scholarship fund each year and create partnerships with local businesses to donate gift cards from beauty salons, restaurants, and spas, which will be used as door prizes during the dress sale.
