Robins Financial Credit Union Blood Drive Saves Lives

Warner Robins, GA — The American Red Cross collected blood from Robins Financial Credit Union employees, members, and members of the community at a blood drive held on Wednesday, February 8th at Robins Financial Credit Union.

Each unit of blood has the ability to save up to three lives. The need for blood is constant and donors are always needed. To find a donation location, please visit the American Red Cross website.

Robins Financial Credit Union Announces Manager, Employee and Branch of the Year

Warner Robins, GA — Each year, Robins Financial Credit Union selects employees that represent the best of the best in two categories – Manager of the Year and Employee of the Year. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. In addition, Robins Financial management selects a branch of the year based on performance and the contribution the branch makes to the community and to the credit union over all.

The winners chosen for 2016 are as follows:

Matt McDonald – Manager of the Watson branch, has been chosen as the 2016 Manager of the Year. Under his leadership, the branch has exceeded all of their production and service goals. He has fostered a positive and thriving environment with a great balance between leading and managing staff.

Robins Financial Credit Union Sponsors Forsythia Festival

Forsyth, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union will be the entertainment stage sponsor for the 2017 Forsythia Festival.

Macon, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union will once again sponsor the Cherry Blossom pins for the 2017 Cherry Blossom Festival.

Beginning on Wednesday, February 1st, Cherry Blossom pins may be purchased for $5 each. Pins are available at the following Robins Financial Credit Union locations:

Robins Financial Credit Union Announces Manager and Employees of the Quarter

Warner Robins, GA — Each quarter, Robins Financial Credit Union selects three employees that represent the best of the best in three categories – Manager, Support Department Staff and Branch Staff. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. The winners chosen for the fourth quarter of 2016 are as follows:

Steve Evans, Indirect Lending Department – Evans is the manager of Robins Financial’s Indirect Lending department. He has been employed by Robins Financial Credit Union for 18 years. He enjoys reading military history and fantasy as well as collecting music, especially vinyl records.

Robins Financial Credit Union’s 25 Days of Holiday Giving

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union will be giving back to the community during the holidays with their 25 Days of Holiday Giving. They selected 25 different organizations throughout their county radius to provide a monetary donation to help the organizations with their holiday festivities. The following organizations received a donation during the fourth week:

· Daybreak in Macon received a $1,000 donation. This organization is a resource center to help the homeless.

· Loaves & Fishes in Macon received a $500 donation. This organization strives to make life better for the homeless.

· Cherished Children Daycare in Warner Robins received a $1,000 donation. This organization assists families with purchasing gifts during the holidays.

Robins Financial Credit Union Brightens the Holidays for Meals on Wheels Recipients

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union employees recently donated over 60 Christmas gifts for elderly and disabled Central Georgia residents.

Robins Financial employees created Christmas gift boxes for donations to the Meals on Wheels of Houston County’s “Shoeboxes for the Elderly” program. The packages contained a variety of items from candy and games to personal care items. These items will be delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients along with a hot meal on Christmas day.
