Robins Financial Credit Union Announces Manager and Employees of the Quarter

Warner Robins, GA — Each quarter, Robins Financial Credit Union selects three employees that represent the best of the best in three categories – Manager, Support Department Staff and Branch Staff. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. The winners chosen for the second quarter of 2016 are as follows:

Matt McDonald, Watson Branch – McDonald is the manager of Robins Financial’s Watson Branch. He has been employed by Robins Financial Credit Union for 5 years and was previously the manager of the Downtown and Zebulon branches. McDonald enjoys being a part of his worship band at church.

Robins Financial Credit Union Blood Drive Saves Over 60 Lives

Warner Robins, GA — The American Red Cross collected 21 pints of blood from Robins Financial Credit Union employees, members, and members of the community at a blood drive held on Friday, July 29th at Robins Financial Credit Union.

Each unit of blood has the ability to save up to three lives. That means the blood collected at Robins Financial Credit Union’s semiannual blood drive has the potential to save 63 lives.

The need for blood is constant and donors are always needed. To find a donation location, please visit the American Red Cross website.

Robins Financial Credit Union Helps to Create More Miracles

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial recently presented the Children’s Miracle Network with a $22,200 donation.

Robins Financial hosted Miracle May where several events took place to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network. All branch locations hosted fundraisers such as bake sales, various raffles and sold icons on Miracle Fridays. A social media contest was held where $1 was donated for each new like or follower, and employees purchased Children’s Miracle Network shirts and were able to wear them during the month.

At Robins Financial, we believe it’s important to maintain a positive image in the community and give back whenever possible.  Supporting the Children’s Miracle Network helps inspire kids and give them the strength and support to overcome whatever they may be facing.

Robins Financial Credit Union Announces New Assistant Vice President

Warner Robins, Ga. — Robins Financial Credit Union would like to announce the newest addition to their executive team. Jennifer Norbeck was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President of Payment Services.

Norbeck has 20 years of banking experience with 17 of those years at the management level. She has been with Robins Financial for over 10 years. Norbeck is Certified Professional Controller, member of Financial Manager’s Society and Leadership Robins Region Alumni (2015). She enjoys traveling, watching movies and spending time with family.

Monica Johnson, Consumer Lending Department – Johnson is the assistant manager of Robins Financial’s Consumer Lending department. She has been employed by Robins Financial Credit Union for 23 years. Johnson enjoys spending time with family.

Robins Financial Credit Union Continues Support of Habitat for Humanity

Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union recently made a corporate donation of $1,500 to the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the corporate donation, a team of 14 Robins Financial Credit Union employees met at a home on Lynmore Estates for Habitat’s “Women Build Day.”

Robins Financial Credit Union has partnered with the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity since 2008, and employees have frequently donated their time to construct Habitat homes.

Robins Financial Continues Partnership with Rebuilding Together

Warner Robins, GA — On Saturday, April 9, Robins Financial Credit Union employees met at a home in Warner Robins to participate in Rebuilding Together’s Christmas In April. Staff members did heavy yard work and made minor repairs to the home for the homeowner.

Robins Financial Credit Union has participated in Rebuilding Together’s Christmas In April since 1997 and has donated over $100,000 to Rebuilding Together since that time.

“Robins Financial Credit Union believes in giving back to the community. We are proud to continue to partner with Rebuilding Together in an effort to make our community a better place,” Dee Dee Côté, Senior Vice President of Administration for Robins Financial Credit Union, said.

Rebuilding Together is a national nonprofit organization that revitalizes communities by making home and yard repairs for the elderly, disabled and veterans.
