Last chance for Pre-K registration

As a reminder, the Bibb County School District is hosting Pre-Kindergarten registration for the 2014-2015 Pre-K Program through Friday, February 28, at the Welcome Center, 2003 Riverside Drive in Macon. Hours of operation for registration are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Parents will need to bring the following documents to registration:

Proof of residence (current telephone, gas, water, electric or cable bill),
Child’s certified birth certificate, and
Child’s Social Security card.

There are currently 748 Pre-K slots available to children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2014. Students may attend Pre-K at their zoned school or Northwoods Academy. Selection is based on a random computer lottery, and there is no cost to participate.
