Boy Scouts of America Banquet to Feature Four Award Recipients | Community Spirit

MACON, GA.-- The 2011 Annual Recognition Banquet will be held January 19, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at The Brickyard in Macon, Georgia.  This year we will be recognizing our 2011 Class of Eagle Scouts, Silver Beaver Award Recipients, Council President and Officers, Council Good Turn Awards, and a great year of Scouting.  Tickets for this event are $25 per person and may be obtained by contacting the Central Georgia Council at 478-743-9386.

Four boy scouts will receive the Silver Beaver, the highest honor a Council can award.

This award is based on long time outstanding service to youth within the Central Georgia Council.  This year’s recipients are:

·         John Ross Adams – Macon, Georgia

·         Thomas Jere Cater – Warner Robins, Georgia

·         Michael Devlin Cooper – Macon, Georgia

·         Jesse Stewart, III – Warner Robins, Georgia
