Rutland High School FCCLA chapter members have been busy with community service projects. Last semester, members fulfilled Christmas gift wishes for two children at the Methodist Home for Children. They also delivered 875 letters to Macy's in support of Macy's "I Believe" letter-writing campaign to Santa to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. During the past three years, FCCLA students have delivered more than 3,000 letters to Santa for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Third-graders at Skyview, Porter, and Union Elementary schools also participated in the letter-writing campaign. Also last semester, Rutland High FCCLA chapter members entertained children with games and pizza at Margaret's Cottage at the Methodist Home for Children.

Chapter members also are currently working to redecorate the children's rooms at the Methodist Home for Children.
