Connecticut Students Help Repair Macon Homes
University of Connecticut students are helping repair Macon homes this week.
The twenty-six students traversed the 1,100 miles in 18 hours to help repair homes alongside Rebuilding Macon, according to a news release.
They'll build wheel chair ramps, rebuild stairs, paint and help prepare homes for various weather conditions.
Last year, Rebuilding Macon repaired 340 homes for elderly and disabled homeowners free of charge.
