A man who appeared to be shopping ended his visit by robbing a East Macon Kroger early Monday on July 22.
That's according to a Macon police news release.
They say it happened around 2 a.m. at the Baconsfield Kroger at 660 North Ave.
They say the white, husky, middle-aged man, wearing a gray button down shirt, orange sweatpants, a blue baseball cap and athletic shoes, came to the checkout counter and handed the clerk a note demanding money.
He did not show a weapon, but his note said he had a weapon and that 'This is a robbery,' the news release said.
Then he walked out with the money.
