Undercover Drug Bust Nets Four Arrests in Macon | Crime
Undercover officers with the Macon Police narcotics unit arrested four people early Friday while checking out a tip about a "shot house" where liquor was being sold illegally.
According to a news release, undercover officers purchased marijuana from Gregory Thomas, 25, at the home at 1089 Duncan Ave., between Napier and Montpelier Avenues.
Police say they tried to arrest Thomas in the front yard but he ran inside where they found about 20 people.
Police report finding seven bags of marijuana and two small bags of cocaine.
Nobody inside claimed to own the house. Tax records say it's owned by a company, police said.
Police arrested Thomas on charges of selling marijuana.
Three others were arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

- Shanika M. Smith, 30
