Mini Foods Robbed in Macon | Crime

Just after 7:30 Wednesday night, officers responded to a robbery at the Mini Foods at 4865 Houston Road in Macon.  

Police say the clerk was sweeping when she heard the doorbell and was grabbed by an unknown man who gestured as if he had a gun in his pocket.

He told the clerk to lay on the floor, took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and fled. It is unknown in which direction he went, or if it was by vehicle or on foot.

The suspect is described as approximately 5'8 with a stocky build.  He was wearing a red hooded jacket, blue jeans, and a black ski mask.
