Two Rings Stolen From Downtown Macon Jewelry Store | Crime
It happened before Thanksgiving but Macon Police are still investigating the theft of two expensive rings from a downtown Macon jewelry store.
On November 21, police say two men went into the C.R. Rader Jewelers on Cherry Street and stole the two rings. Employees didn't discover the theft until closing that day.
According to a news release, one is a 2.24-karat white gold engagement ring, and the other is a 2-karat diamond white gold wedding band.
The name Alfred Levitt appears inside each.
Anyone with information on either of the suspects or the location of these rings is asked to contact MPD at 478-803-2560 or Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
