Guilty Plea in 2011 Whiskey River Shooting
The senior airman charged in the July 2011 shooting death of 20-year-old Anthony Harris has been sentenced to life in prison.
Macon police say investigator Dennis Terry was summoned to the January court martial of Steven J. Holsey, an airman stationed at Robins Air Force Base.
Holsey was accused of fatally shooting Harris in the parking lot behind Whiskey River in July 2011 after an argument on the dance floor.
He is eligible for parole after 40 years.
The news release says Holsey remains in the Houston County Jail.
