Bibb Deputy Charged With Stealing Bank Card | Crime

A Bibb County Sheriff's corrections deputy was arrested Tuesday afternoon after allegedly admitting he'd taken and used an inmate's bank card.
According to a news release, Kerry Andre Woodard, 52, was arrested after an internal investigation. He had an administrative hearing Tuesday afternoon and was then fired by Sheriff David Davis.
Woodard has been charged with financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud and violation of oath by a public officer.
Sean DeFoe, spokesman for the sheriff's department, says Woodard allegedly used the card to steal more than $4,000 from the inmate.
An employee of the sheriff's office since 2007, Woodard is out on a $9,250 bond.
