Armed Man Charged for Stealing Macon Woman's iPhone
A man is charged with stealing a woman's iPhone outside a Cherry Street bar early Wednesday morning.
A Macon Police Department news release said Dontavious Thomas approached her while she was in her car, opened her door, gun in hand, and demanded money.
After an argument, he snatched her phone and ran.
The woman went back inside a business and called for help. Officers found the 21-year old and two friends trying to leave in another car.
Thomas faces an armed robbery charge. The two other people in the car were released.
