Two Charged With Bloomfield Nu-Way Robbery | Crime
Two Macon men were arrested Tuesday and charged with robbing a southwest Macon Nu-Way Weiners.
Police found Joseph Jordan, 21, and Christopher Collins, 24, in a house less than a quarter-mile from the restaurant.
Witnesses told police two masked men entered the Nu-Way and robbed the employees at gunpoint, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
After picking up three men and obtaining a warrant to search at the house at 2560 Anderson Drive, police found a black ski mask, gloves, a gun and a large sum of cash.
Officers also found three more individuals hiding in the house, according to a news release, including one in a floor vent.
Collins and Jordan were charged with armed robbery. Jordan was also charged with a probation violation. They were taken to the Bibb jail.
Others who were detained and questioned have been released. Police say they determined the others were not involved in the robbery.
