Two Men Rob South Macon Store | Crime

Clerks at a south Macon convenience store notified a patroling police officer early Friday morning that two men had robbed them.
One clerk at the E-Z Mart on Houston Avenue said she was struck in the head with a gun during the robbery around 2:45 a..m.
According to a news release, a customer claimed he was having trouble with an amusement machine.
When the clerk offered assistance, a second man ran into the store with a handgun demanding money, entered the enclosed register area, and struck the second clerk in the head with his weapon.
The two suspects left the store on foot with cash, cigarettes, and the clerks' cell phones.
Both men were wearing blue Dickie brand jumpsuits.
