Police: Pit Bull Mauled Macon 5-Year-Old | Crime

A Macon five-year-old is in critical condition after being attacked by a pit bull.

That's according to a Macon police news release.

They says it happened about around 3 o'clock yesterday on the 1100 block of Ousley Place, off Forest Hill Road.

Police say the child suffered bites on his scalp and on his arm, head, face and legs.

He's still at a local hospital.

They say the dog was euthanized.
