Domino's Delivery Driver Robbed in Macon

A Domino's pizza delivery driver was robbed by an armed man at a Macon apartment complex Friday night.

That's according to Bibb Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Sean Defoe.  He said in a news release, the driver had just arrived at Summer Park Apartments on Mercer University Drive, when a man wielding a silver revolver emerged from the side of a building and demanded money.  He ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt, but deputies are still investigating.

The gunman is described as standing between five feet, six inches and five feet, eight inches tall, and having a slender build.  He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt that partially covered his face, and dark colored pants.

Anyone with information can call the Bibb Sheriff's Office at 478-746-9441 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
