A Rutland High School student was caught Friday morning with a pocket knife.
According to a news release, a teacher witnessed the 17-year-old female, who is awaiting an evidentiary hearing, drop the pocket knife during class change.
The Campus Police Department is consulting with the District Attorney's Office on further action of this case.
