Howard High School's Model UN Team Competes at UGA Conference | Events
Howard High School's Model United Nations (UN) team competed this month at the University of Georgia Model United Nations Conference in Athens. It was Howard High's fourth Model UN competition and the school was the only one from the District represented at the conference.
Sophomore Ian Roughen received the Outstanding Delegate award for his work as John Adams in a simulation of the Second Continental Congress. Seniors Timothy Lewis and Linda Garrett received the Distinguished Delegation award for representing Brazil in the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
