Academy Seniors Named as Finalists in 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program | Families
MACON, GA.--Mount de Sales Academy is proud to announce that three students have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship program.
Finalists are selected based on PSAT scores earned during the junior year, a complete transcript of grades and SAT test scores, school recommendations, and a student essay.
Of the some 1.5 million program entrants, only approximately 15,000 are considered in the finalist category. Keith Johnson, son of Stephen and Anne Johnson, Matthew Alibozek, son of Richard and Karen Alibozek, and Brandon Read, son of Larry and Caren Read, are among this highly selective national group.
Each will be considered for National Merit Scholarships to be announced in April, 2012.
