Parents Participate in Heritage Elementary Anti-Bullying Activities | Families
Heritage Elementary School hosted an Anti-Bullying Campaign Kickoff on Thursday, November 15, that tied in with the school's celebration of Title I Parental Involvement Day.
The school held an anti-bullying assembly for third- through fifth-graders with guest speaker Leon Jones, Coroner for Bibb County.
Then, all Pre-K through fifth grade classes read a story about bullying and completed an anti-bullying class activity. Parents were invited to read stories to classrooms and they were encouraged to help out with classroom activities geared toward anti-bullying. Students also signed a pledge against bullying.
