Macon Holds Candlelight Vigil for Newtown | Families

The City of Macon plans to hold a candlelight prayer vigil at 6 p.m. to honor and support the community and families in Newtown, Conn.

The vigil will be held in Rosa Parks Square. That's across the street from City Hall.

According to a news release, the event will feature prayers and a moment of silence. 

The public is invited to participate.
