Two Central Ga. Students Head to State Spelling Bee | Families
Two students from Central Georgia are heading to the state spelling bee Friday.
Junus Searcy, a seventh-grader at Bibb County's Rutland Middle, and John Roberts, a Dodge County Middle's eighth-grader, will compete in the Georgia Association of Educators' 52nd Anniversary State Spelling Bee, according to a release.
They are two out of 20 students in Georgia who will compete.
The state's top spellers will go head-to-head at 11 a.m. Friday in Atlanta.
