My Couponing Favorites...

I have had so many people asking me about my couponing links so I decided to turn this email into a blog. Hope it helps someone out there...

Here are my favorite websites to get great deals and the weekly saving post that I use to mark out my shopping trips.

1. MoneySavingMom.com has an AWESOME explanation of how to shop at CVS. It is listed under STORE DEALS... hover your mouse over CVS and the CVS 101 link appears to the right. This was a big help to me starting out. It is an overall wonderful site. She post lots of good links for FREE stuff, as well as financial advice, crafting with the kiddos and even Freezer cooking. Great Mommy Website!

Easter Egg Hunting Success

Easter Egg Hunting Success

YAY!!! I wasn't rained out yesterday evening. So I went Easter Egg Hunting. Not only did I never realize how much of a true workout going back and forth up and down Cherry St. is, but I also brought along a good friend of mine and her young daughter.

We enjoyed the band Stoopgrass that played in Third St. Park early on in the evening, and she also got to jump in the Moon Bounce. That was a bit of nostalgia for the both of us, so all you adults out there, if you find an adult moon bounce let me know!

But the biggest discovery were the eggs. We didn't realize how many people would be out looking right at 5 p.m. We saw some bunny ears as well as a few (full) colorful baskets when we started at 5:30. We traversed into some familiar businesses such as The Rookery, and Cox Capital Theater. And had no idea that they would already be cleaned out by our first walk through. But, as great discoverers do, we kept looking further down Cherry.

Third Street on First Friday

Third Street on First Friday

Stoopgrass performed downtown on Third St. for First Friday.

When lead singer Matt Moncrief's toddler son came up on stage to hug him, Moncrief told the crowd, "best thing I ever made right there."

Early in the evening there was also a moon bounce set up for kids near the fountain on Third St. as well.
