Title (Max 100 Characters)
Employees of the Central Georgia Health system are pushing themselves this spring.
In order to increase their health, they're working to decrease their weight.
A 13-week program, called the "Weigh Down," is part of the Medical Center of Central Georgia's "live Healthy" campaign.
The program kicked off today with a nearly mile-long walk around the MCCG campus.
"What we hope to do is get these employees in a little bit better position health-wise," said Lisa Seneker, Group Fitness Director at the Wellness Center. "Healthy employees make happier employees."
The fitness program is open and free to all employees of the Central Georgia Health system, and will include a nutritional plan as well.
