School Nutrition Program Celebrates Reading at Downtown Market | Health

On Wednesday, March 6, the Bibb County School Nutrition Program hosted a table at the Mulberry Street Market celebrating National Reading Week and Dr. Seuss’ Birthday.

Community partner Community Health Works hosts the Mulberry Street Market each Wednesday in downtown Macon and the Bibb County School Nutrition Program frequently hosts a table at the market.

On Wednesday representatives from the School Nutrition Program provided information from the Tray Talk Kit and distributed backpack brochures to parents and students about healthy meals. Students also worked on Dr. Seuss puzzle pages and played with nutritional game cards.
