Tattnall doubled their football signing class Wednesday.
The Trojans won the state championship this year.
Andrew Layson put 22 touchdowns on the board in his varsity career and racked up 2,521 yards.
He had an offer from Mercer University but decided to go to Georgia Tech as a preferred walk-on. Layson says he wants to pursue civil engineering. "I just wanted to go to Georgia Tech because its bigger and it has civil engineering which I wanted, and it took a lot of thinking. But I wanted to get out of Macon. I wanted to move out, and I wanted to try bigger and better things," Layson said.
John Rader quarterbacked the team, and that's the position he eventually will play for Birmingham Southern College.
