220 People Without Power in Macon | News
Two trees falling down in 12 hours have caused numerous power outages in Macon.
Georgia Power says a tree fell on Vonron Drive early Sunday morning. Those limbs caused 220 people to lose power in the area. Georia Power predicts they will have that situation cleared up by 11am to 12pm Sunday morning.
A tree fell on power lines near North Avenue in downtown Macon knocking out power for close to 3,000 customers.
Workers have been able to restore power everyone involved in that situation.
Witnesses say the outage effected the intersection of Spring Street and Riverside Drive.
As of Sunday morning some peole may be without gas in your homes.
That's because, while crews were asessing the fallen tree, they found a gas leak at a nearby business.
