Report: 11-Year-Old Brought Gun to Sonny Carter | News
Authorities say a weapon was reported at Carter Elementary School on Wednesday.
According to a release, administrators were notified Thursday that an 11-year-old made "threatening remarks and showed other students what appeared to be a gun" on Wednesday.
Students reported witnessing a gun to educators, but they never found one, school safety director David Gowan says.
School administrators immediately called Campus Police, who then conducted a "room clear protocol."
No weapons were found on school grounds.
A phone call went out to notify parents and a letter from the principal was also sent out to parents.
