Police Looking for Shooter of S&S Manager | News
A manager at S&S Cafeteria on Riverside Drive in Macon was shot in the neck Friday night, and his condition is now stable. That's according to general manager Jerry Henderson.
Henderson said video surveillance showed three masked and gloved men walking through the woods behind the restaurant, and entering through the back door.
The robbers then forced the manager down on the ground, and tried to get him to open the safe at the front of the door. Robbers were unable to get any money, and fled.
Henderson said one of the robbers was injured. "When he discharged his weapon, I think it also went through his hand or hit his hand, or maybe the hammer of the gun hit his hand because it was obvious there was blood all over his hand as he was running out of the building," added Henderson.
Henderson believes the robbers were familiar with the restaurant because they knew where to find carryout bags.
Police are looking for the three people in connection with the shooting and believe the robbers were driving a four door black car.
