Frank Reeves' Bond Hearing Rescheduled

Frank Reeves, the Macon man accused in a shooting death at a Gray Highway gas station in December 2012, remains behind bars after his bond hearing was rescheduled Friday.

Reeves' attorney, Veronica Brinson, said the hearing was postponed because the witness they needed has not been cleared.

Brinson is also seeking approval from the Department of Veteran Affairs for a home for the 73-year-old Reeves as a "reasonable alternative" to jail.

Bibb County District Attorney David Cook opposes bond for Reeves.

Reeves is charged in the shooting death of 65-year-old Linda Hunnicutt.

No new date for the hearing has been announced.
