Macon lady sentenced for nursing home identity theft | News
Yolanda Blount, 32, was sentenced to prison for wire fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy, theft of public money, aggravated identity theft and access device fraud.
Blount admitted to taking information from people in nursing homes and using it to file false tax returns.
The judge also ordered her to pay $493,506.60 in restitution to the IRS.
Officials found tax returns on her computer showing she filed for $511,951 in tax refunds, and the IRS paid out $460,692.
