A convenience store on Zebulon Road was robbed early Thursday morning.

A man walked into Circle K, with a plastic bag covering something in his hand, and demanded money, according to a release.

The clerk believes the covered object in his hand was a gun.

He left the store after receiving cash and no one was hurt.

That was around 3 a.m. Thursday.

The man is described as having a medium frame, between 5'9 to 5'11. He was wearing a gray, short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes with a black bandana covering his face.

If you have any insight into the case, you can call the sheriff's office at 478-751-7500.
