Robbery suspect, two others arrested | News
Bibb County Sheriff's Office arrested a man accused of robbing two people and cutting them with a knife Monday.
Two other men were also arrested along with Robert Kyle Barthelemy, 20, after a brief car chase Thursday.
Barthelemy is accused of robbing two men he knew after they picked him up in their vehicle at McDonald's on Gray Highway. He took money from the men and cut them both with a knife before ordering them to stop the vehicle on Interstate 75 between Interstate 16 and Arkwright Road.
The sheriff's office received a tip from Macon Regional CrimeStoppers that Barthelemy was at a home in west Bibb County. Deputies went to the house and saw the suspect and two other men, Scott Michael Mander, 39, and Christopher Todd Potts, 22, both of Macon.
The men got into a vehicle and drove off, but were caught after the brief pursuit, the news release states.
Barthelemy is being held at the Bibb County jail without bond on two counts of aggravated assault, robbery and probation violation.
Potts is also in the jail without bond charged with fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, false information, probation violation and an outstanding warrant for forgery.
Mander is being held on a probation violation charge.
