An accused gas station robber grabbed two cases of beer as he left a west Bibb convenience store early Friday.

Deputies say a man robbed Circle K on Chambers Road around 6:30 a.m. Friday, according to a release. That's near Middle Georgia State College.

He allegedly demanded money from the clerk, showing a handgun. As he was leaving, he snatched two cases of beer and ran.

Officials describe the suspect as a man in his 30s, about six feet tall and around 200 pounds. He was wearing a long-sleeved black sweatshirt, red shorts, black tennis shoes with a black do-rag covering his face
