Former Newtown Macon President Says Goodbye
News

Many people gathered to celebrate the going away of Newtown Macon President, Mike Ford.

Ford has been serving for 11 years and has been responsible for the new change of downtown Macon.

The ceremony consisted of a few speakers including former representative Jim Marshall, and Mercer President William Underwood.

Ford was given several plaques from different organization and even had part of the Heritage Trail in Macon named after him.

Ford's time as presidents ends at the end of March, but he plans to continue working closely with the organization.
