Woman sentenced in 2011 carjacking-murder



Alexandria Scott sentenced to life today after pleading guilty to the 2011 murder of Kimberly McKenzie of Centerville.

McKenzie was carjacked, robbed and shot and her body dumped in south Bibb County in January 2011.

Scott was sentenced today in Bibb Superior Court.

Judge Howard Simms sentenced her to life with possible parole in the murder case.

Scott also pleaded guilty to armed robbery. She received a 10-year sentence in that case.

That means she will be eligible for parole in 40 years.
