Woman dies after north Macon wreck

A Macon woman who drove off Zebulon Road Monday night died from the medical problems that caused the wreck, according to Bibb County assistant coroner Lonnie Miley.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says Agnes Beck, age 83, died early Tuesday at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Around 7:45 p.m., she reportedly drove off the road in the 6900 block of Zebulon Road.

A news release says she was traveling east when she crossed over the westbound lane and struck a fence.

Miley said Beck suffered a medical problem that caused the wreck. He would not give further details. He said Beck suffered only minor injuries from the wreck itself.
