A Macon teen is in stable condition at the hospital after the motorized scooter he was driving hit a car at about 2:40 p.m. at the Eisenhower Parkway, Houston Avenue intersection.

The 15-year-old male was traveling north on a vacant lot near the intersection when he entered Eisenhower Parkway, according to a Bibb County Sheriff's Office news release.

A 2007 Ford Focus, driven by Diane Bledsoe of Rebecca, was traveling west on Eisenhower when the scooter struck the driver's side of her car, the news release states.

Bledsoe had a green light at the time of the accident.
